Dylan Waller in YSU

Dylan Whitman Waller is a musician, a creative writer and a great lover of Armenian music, particularly the work Komitas did in collecting it. After traveling around 30 countries performing his own music and poetry, he has come to Armenia to savor a rare opportunity- to assist the Gurdjieff Ensemble as they prepare for their upcoming Spring 2017 tour of Europe.
Now Dylan Waller is coming to YSU within the framework of Student Scientific Society of the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology to discuss with students first of all his own art, the Armenian music (particularly the art of Komitas and Lusine Zaqaryan) and the role it plays in his life. Some prospects of the Gurdjieff Ensemble will be revealed as well as the musicians and their work in the Ensemble will be talked over. Our discussion will take place on the 30th of March at 13:00.
